    My sister and I have made a pact to start eating healthier. No more fast food, no more soda, and no more sugary junk food. We’ve started working out three days a week, and have been making menus and going to the grocery store, which helps us avoid eating out. We’ve even started taking acai pills, something our mom has been trying to get us to do for years. She wanted us to take it because it reduces the risk of heart disease, which runs in our family. We decided to take it because it boosts metabolism and increases stamina. So I guess we all win!

    My brother called me the other night, on the verge of quitting his diet. I asked him what was wrong, and he said that even though he was losing weight, he was tired of being hungry all the time. Since he is losing weight in order to combat diabetes, I told him not to quit. Then I suggested he try acai pills, which naturally suppress appetite. At first he told me “no way”, but then when I started telling him about how the high concentrate of fiber was what actually helped suppress hunger, I convinced him. He stayed on his diet, and I was the good sister who talked him out of quitting!
